After gaining 4 years of valuable experiance at a Stellenbosch based media and web design agency, I decided to explore the freelance route about 3 years ago, after getting married and settling down with my husband in Bloemfontein (for now!), South Africa. Being a Capetonian born and bred, I would have never imagined setting up house in this central South African city, but having a professional sportsman for a husband means never knowing where you are going to end up in the close forseeable future! Becoming a freelance web designer/developer was the ideal solution, as I can basically work from anywhere.

For me, freelancing also means having to find a balance between work and being a good part-time (or rather, “some”-time) house-wife to a continuously dirty-laundry-generating husband, and “mother” to a beautiful, but exericise-demanding golden-retriever.
